Project Overview

This project was to complete a large industrial building/area. We were contracted to pour all the floors, yard, panels and infill slabs for the large building. This project is situated in the heart of the industrial area of Stoke, Nelson.  We were awarded the Youngman Richardson & Co Best Commercial Award for this project.

Our client for this project was Ultraspec Building Systems, a Nelson-based company that specialise in the design and construction of commercial buildings. We value all of our jobs with a high level of importance, this one in particular, as succeeding with this project could potentially create further large scale projects in the future. 

This project has been one of our largest commercial projects that we have completed. As we are only a small company, completing this project has been a big and satisfying accomplishment for our team.  This project took us one and a half years to complete and consisted of floors, yards, panels and infills. 

We completed every aspect of this job from the first initial quote to the final cutting of the floors and yards. We had a great working relationship with our client which enabled the success of this huge ongoing project.  

We completed the following: 

• Floors – 5000m2 794m3 of Concrete  

• Yard – 4500m2 670m3 of Rabmix Concrete 

• Panels – 512m2 80m3 of Concrete 

• Infills – 356m2 142m3 of Concrete 

• Floor Cutting  1608m of Soff Cutting 

• Yard Cutting  2000m of Soff Cutting 

As we are a small team, we are very happy with the outcome of this project. We completed this job on time and with no remedial work required.
